Raise your prices, trust your instincts and build a language business that lets you breathe - alongside other women who won't let you play small.

Join Home, the only membership for women in languages.

You got into languages because you love people.

You love the moment when something clicks for a learner, when a sentence lands for the first time, when someone makes a joke in a language they were terrified of six months ago. You love the intimacy of that work. The humanity of it. But somewhere between your CELTA and your fiftieth hour of unpaid lesson planning, something shifted.

You started checking what other teachers charge before setting your own prices. You started writing Instagram captions that sound nothing like you because someone told you that's how you get clients. You stopped trusting your gut about what a learner needs and started googling frameworks instead. You built a website you're embarrassed to send people to. You say "I'm just a teacher" even though you've got a decade of experience and a masters degree.

You take on a new student at a rate you know is too low because you're scared they'll say no if you charge what you actually need. You over-prepare for every single session because if it's not perfect, what are you even doing. You answer messages at 10pm because what if they go somewhere else. You cancel your own plans to accommodate a student's schedule because their time feels more important than yours.

And underneath all of it, there's a quiet hum that never stops: am I good enough? Am I qualified enough? Who am I to charge that? Who am I to call myself a coach, a business owner, an expert?

This isn't a you problem. This is an industry problem.

The language industry was built at the intersection of colonialism, capitalism, and patriarchy. It was designed to prioritise profit over people, native speakers over everyone else and mechanical output over human connection. It produces a very specific type of professional: someone who is brilliant, probably overqualified, deeply caring and completely stuck below the size of her own ambition. Someone who has been taught that wanting more is greedy, that ambition is suspicious and that the caring side of her work doesn't count as real expertise.

Nearly seventy percent of people working in this industry are women. And yet women are barely present in senior management, in decision-making, in shaping the future of the profession. The people making the rules have never done the work you do every day.

You've been carrying this alone. An invisible backpack full of stones you never chose to pick up. And no amount of strategy, marketing advice, or mindset tips is going to fix something that was never yours to fix on your own.

What if the thing that's been missing isn't a better content plan or a fancier website or another certification?

What if it's something much simpler and much harder: becoming more of who you already are?
Every woman I've worked with over the past eighteen years has had the same moment. The moment she stops performing and starts building from the inside out. The moment she realises she already knows how to teach, how to coach, how to connect, how to build. She just stopped trusting it because the industry spent years telling her it wasn't enough.

The shift doesn't come from learning more. It comes from being seen and from being in a room where someone says 'me too' and you realise for the first time that you were never the problem. And from watching another woman raise her prices and not apologise and thinking: maybe I can do that too. It comes when you laugh at something in a Telegram thread at 8am and realise these women actually get you.

Now, imagine this:

It's a Tuesday morning. You've got two lessons with clients who pay you properly and you're not dreading either of them. You didn't spend last night over-preparing because you trust yourself to show up as you are.
Your business is slowly growing, you post confidently, make offers and work when it's convenient for you. You're enjoying more and more freedom in your approach, in how you use your time and what you share online.
Later that week, you join the kitchen table call. You bring something that's been sitting heavy. You don't need to explain the whole backstory because these women understand. They've carried the same weight, been ghosted the same way. You leave the call feeling lighter than you have in months.
You draft a sales post that feels a bit too honest or too 'salesy' and you nearly delete it. Three women in the group reply: send it. You send it. The next day? Someone books.
Something shifts and you can't quite pinpoint when it happened. You catch yourself posting without agonising over it. You quote a price and don't immediately want to lower it. You take a Wednesday afternoon off and don't feel guilty. You begin to enjoy yourself more.

And you've got a group of women around you who feel less like a network and more like a...

🏡 Home

The only membership where women and marginalised folk in languages stop building alone and start building as themselves, surrounded by others who see and celebrate the whole of them.

Home is built on four elements.

It's not a cute metaphor.
It's a symbolic framework that represents wholeness that we build from.

AIR means seeing clearly

Before you can change anything, you need to see it. Air is awareness. It's naming the patterns, the industry forces, the stories you've been told about what you're worth and what's possible. You can't put down what you can't see.

EARTH means building sustainably

Earth is capacity. Building from your actual energy, your actual life, your actual nervous system. Not from what Instagram tells you to do, but from what's real and what's yours. Earth is where your business starts working with you instead of against you.

WATER means feeling deeply

Water is identity. It's who you are underneath the performance, the qualifications, the professional mask. It's the emotional and creative self that this industry taught you to leave outside the classroom. Water is where you remember her.

FIRE means building together

Fire is community. Because individual transformation only goes so far. The real change happens when women who see each other clearly decide to build together, refuse to compete over scraps and hold each other accountable to their ambition.

What you'll find inside Home

Home is built on the four elements framework and therefore on the principles of mental clarity, identity work, nervous system capacity, and ambitious, human-first business building. Here's what you'll find inside:

Kitchen Table Coaching Call

A monthly call where we connect, bring what's heavy and hold space for each other. Real conversation between women who understand. Bring the heavy stuff, the silly stuff, the wobbles, the celebrations. Everything is welcome.

Business Support Call

A monthly call where you bring real questions and get real answers. Pricing, offers, visibility, strategy. Practical help rooted in years of experience. A blend of hot seats coaching and Q&As. No fluff. Actual answers from someone who's done it.

The Community & networking opportunities

A moderated Telegram space where you ask for support, share wins, think out loud and more.
There will be plenty of gentle networking opportunities so you can find clients, potential business partners, collaborators and friends for life! The group chat you've been wishing existed.

Guest Sessions

Bi-monthly occurrence where contributors, members and external guests run sessions on creativity, AI, emotional regulation, native speakerism, marketing and whatever is alive for us. Shaped by what we actually need rather than a fixed curriculum.

Self-development and business courses

At least five courses per year, ranging from one to five days. Sold to the public at full price of up to £149. For Home members, always free.  Topics will include:

* authentic visibility
* human-first sales
* nervous system regulation
* stepping into more audacity
* healing money wounds
and more!

The kind of learning that changes how you show up, not just what you know.

Gatherings twice a year

Because of the success of the original gathering, we will hold at least 2 of these a year for the members of our community. It'll be a chance to get together, reflect and talk about what's important and move forward more empowered.

Quarterly Map

Four times a year, we sit down together and map the season ahead. We take an honest look at what you're building, what you're selling, and what you actually have the capacity for right now. We work with your energy, your life and the season you're in, rather than against them. You'll leave each one with a clear, kind sense of direction and a few intentional moves, instead of a to-do list that quietly shames you.

Accountability Sprints

Short, gentle bursts where we each commit to one brave move and carry each other to the finish. From launching to visibility plans and everything in between. This is where intentions stop being intentions and start being done.

Surprises, bonuses and a directory of trusted businesses

Because Home is a living space. It'll keep changing because we will.

We're already cooking up regular challenges, accountability sprints and more.

We're also building a directory of trusted providers and quality business owners from within and outside our community. We're making it up as we go in the best possible way!

Who this is for

You work in languages. Maybe you're a teacher, a coach, a translator, a mentor, an academic, a freelancer, a business owner. Maybe you're just starting out. Maybe you've been doing this for twenty years. Maybe you're somewhere in between, figuring out what's next.
It doesn't matter where you are. What matters is that something in this message made you feel seen.
Home is for anyone in the language industry who has felt the weight of this system and is ready to build differently. While Language is a Woman centres women as the backbone of this industry, Home is open to men, queer and trans folk and anyone who has felt marginalised by the way things have always been done.

Who this is NOT for

Home is not a shortcut. It's not a place to get rich quick or pick up cheap business coaching. It's not a replacement for one-to-one coaching or therapy. And it's not for people who believe that progress comes from more input, more strategies and more hustle. If you're looking for a blueprint, this isn't it.

Why I'm building this (honestly)

I spent years helping women in languages one by one. And it worked. They raised their prices, found their voice, built businesses they were proud of. But something kept nagging at me.

Individual transformation wasn't enough. Because every time a woman grew, she went back into the same system. The same industry that undervalues her, the same Instagram that makes her feel behind, the same isolation that makes her wonder if she's the only one struggling. And slowly, the old patterns would creep back in.

I'm a systemic thinker. I believe that the language industry won't change because one woman gets braver. It will change because a group of women get together, have so much fun building differently that other people notice and think: I want what they're having.

That's what Home is. Not a programme or a fix. A place where we break the rules together, where there's no fake hierarchy, where we celebrate each other's wins as loudly as our own, and where we prove that ambition and softness aren't opposites.

I want Home to be the place you come back to at the end of a long day and exhale. Where there's space for the heavy stuff but also for the silly stuff, the random questions, the "is it just me or..." moments. Where belonging isn't something you earn by performing. It's just there.

This is my legacy work. Not because I'm trying to be anybody's mother or guru. I tried that. It nearly broke me. This is different. This is me saying: I've seen what's wrong, I know we can't fix it alone, and I genuinely believe that a room full of women in languages who trust each other is the most dangerous and beautiful thing this industry has ever seen.

And I want you in that room.

Ola Kowalska

Hi, I'm Ola Kowalska

I have spent eighteen years in the language industry and seen it from almost every angle. I taught for under ten pounds an hour while being more talented than half the people above me. I became an academic manager at twenty-eight and learned how badly this industry treats the people holding it up. I built my own language school, then in 2021 became one of the first business coaches working specifically with people in languages and grew that into a multi six-figure business. From the outside, it looked like I had it all worked out. Inside, I was burning out.

In 2024, at what looked like my peak, something broke. I had been performing a polished, do-it-all-alone version of myself for years, and it had quietly cost me my health and my sense of who I was. In the hard couple of years that followed, I came to understand the forces that keep so many women in languages overworking, undercharging and playing small. Because around seventy percent of this industry are women, and yet we are rarely the ones seen as leaders. The relational, emotional, creative heart of this work, its most feminine part, is exactly what the industry dismisses as soft. I think that is the whole problem.

So I stopped trying to fix it one woman at a time, and built Home instead. I am not here to be your guru. I am the woman who names what we have all been feeling and builds the room where we finally get to do this differently, together.

You've probably tried other things...

You've bought the business course. You learned the strategy, maybe even implemented some of it. You've joined a methodology programme and had real breakthroughs there. Maybe you found a Facebook group for teachers or a special interest membership where the content was good and you even liked some of the people.

But here's what all of those things have in common: the community was a bonus. A nice extra.  The community was never the thing. It was always the by-the-way.

Home is the opposite. The community is the thing. Everything else, the calls, the courses, the guest sessions, exists to serve the community, not the other way around. We don't start with content and hope people connect. We start with connection and let the content grow from what we actually need.

That's not a small difference. That's the whole point. Because the truth is, most of what you need to grow you already know. What you've been missing is the people who make it safe to actually do it. The power of Home isn't in what we teach you. It's in what happens when a group of women stop competing, start trusting each other and themselves and build side by side. That's where the magic is. (And always has been.)

In case you're wondering...

Is this only for women?

Home centres women as the backbone of the language industry, but it's open to anyone who resonates with the message. Men, queer and trans folk, anyone who has felt marginalised by this industry is welcome here.

Is this a business coaching programme?

No. Home is a community with meaningful input, not a course or a programme. You'll get practical business support, but this isn't about funnels and frameworks. It's about building from who you are, surrounded by people who get it. It's also about doing it with intention and staying accountable to each other rather than pretending you can do it alone.

Is this only for English language teachers?

Not at all. The conversations here are relevant to anyone working in any part of the language industry. English teaching is where many systemic issues are most visible, but these themes: identity, sustainability, creativity, ambition, collective action, cross every language and every role.

I'm just starting out. Is this for me?

Yes. Home is for people at every stage. Whether you've been teaching for twenty years or you're just figuring out your first offer, what matters is that you're ready to build differently.

What if I can't make the live calls?

Replays will be available through an online platform and you'll have your own login to access it. The community on Telegram is always there. Show up when you can, how you can. No pressure!

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes! The commitment is for a year and you only pay ONCE for the whole 12 months. You can leave anytime during or after that time, we won't make any fuss about it.

I still have questions.

No worries! Send us and email at hello@olakowalska.com and we'll be happy to help!

You've been carrying this alone long enough.

You know what the backpack feels like. You know the cost. And now you know you're not the only one. Home isn't going to fix the industry overnight. But it's going to give you a place where you can finally put the weight down, be seen as a whole human and build something meaningful alongside women who refuse to let each other do it alone.
